Our Drivers

We know there are few better feelings than receiving your brand new car, and what better way to receive it than being greeted by a smart, courteous and knowledgeable Driver. Starting at interview, through training and beyond we make sure that our Drivers are the best in the business.

We EMploy all our drivers

We say this, loud and proud, because it is far from the industry norm. Our drivers, any drivers, need support in a tough but rewarding job and that’s what we provide. By employing our drivers we are happy to provide holiday pay, sick pay, parental leave, a pension, a minimum wage and employment rights. We don’t stop there; every employee has access to free private healthcare through our relationship with Benenden Health. Not only do we have an ethical obligation but we firmly believe that a cared for team, a happy team, leads to happy customers.

Driver Training and Speed awareness

As part of our commitment to keeping our Drivers, other road users and our customers’ vehicles safe, we have invested in a bespoke driver awareness course ran by our two in house qualified Driving Assessors. As part of our induction process all our Drivers must complete a rigorous Driving Assessment and complete the Driver Awareness Course with The Head of Driver Training and Development. During the course our drivers learn the importance of the Highway Code, observation, anticipation, and fuel efficiency and drivers are given guidance on driving all sizes of vehicles and driving in adverse weather conditions. In order to maintain our high standards, the Assessments are repeated at regular intervals, to ensure we employ more efficient, competent and safer drivers to keep our roads safe.
